PREFABRIC DRAINAGE PANELSTI FOR DRAINING TRENCHES

The prefabricated drainage panels Drenar, Drenar T (already equipped internally with corrugated pipe) or Drenar
Strong (specific for aggressive liquid drainage), they allow you to create draining trenches being able to obtain
several technical advantages compared to traditional methodologies:

• Reduction of excavations, backfills, transports and disposals; in consideration of the installation in a forced section and the high speed of movement;
• Greater safety for the workers as the installation takes place from the outside;
• Lightening of the areas, being able to replace land with lighter material;
• Reduction of CO2 emissions;
• Being an industrial product, it allows for homogeneity of performance;
• Greater durability, as the porometry of the geotextile can be modified according to the granulometric curve;

ARRIDRO 
LOW IMPACT HYDRAULIC ANTI-EROSIVE GEOCOMPOSITE

The ARRIDRO geocomposite, consisting of a double twisted 6x8 mesh wire mesh, pre-coupled with biomesh
100% coconut fiber has been specifically designed for applications in the plumbing sector, particularly in the
stabilization of embankment slopes in eroding earth and/or with wildlife excavation activities (for example
nutrients)
The main application areas of ARRIDRO anti-erosion geocomposite are:

• Anti-erosion protection, stabilization and greening of earth river slopes;
• Protection of river embankments and embankments against erosion caused by excavated fauna (coypu, porcupines, foxes and others);
• Consolidation and grassing of embankments in hydraulic works such as embankments, banked embankments, expansion basins, embankment recovery and enlargements, lamination deposits and spillways;
• Construction of low impact engineering works.
• Use as a hydraulic cover in the greening of Materassi Metallici, for retaining the fine earthy matrix used to clog the voids in the filling stones;

ANTINUTRIA/ANTITAX AND ANTINUTRIA/ANTISHRIMP NETWORKS 
GEOCOMPOSITE FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE BANK FROM DIGGING FAUNA

To protect the embankment embankments against erosion by medium-sized burrowing fauna such as coypu, anti-tax, porcupines; but also from small animals such as Louisiana Shrimps; Arrigo Gabbioni Italia has studied two specific low impact solutions; each aimed at a specific problem.

• Double-twisted 6x8 mesh wire mesh against the intrusion of coypu and porcupines;

• Pre-coupled geocomposite consisting of a double twisted 6x8 mesh wire mesh preassembled to a high tenacity Pet woven geonet with a tight mesh, against intrusion by both coypu and crayfish.

These two systems have a very low environmental impact, in fact they have been specifically designed to prevent
to the fauna to cause damage to embankments and/or sensitive areas, without at the same time causing damage to the fauna,
simply pushing her to change her habits.


The main application areas of the ANTINUTRIA NETWORK and of the ANTISHRIMP GEOCOMPOSITE are:

• Work with low environmental impact, in fact the volumes of land excavation and movement for the installation of the Anti-gambero system are much lower than those of interventions with loose stones for example; with consequent lower CO2 emissions on the work and lower environmental impact;

• The excavated soil is largely reused to cover the antinutria net or the antishrimp geocomposite;
• No risk of tearing, breaking or injury due to machinery during mowing operations, using the soil to cover the geocomposite;

• The permeability of the systems allows hydraulic circulation, without creating hydraulic pressure behind the work;
• The use of the 6x8 mesh prevents the passage of even the smallest coypu;
• High laying speed; consequent reduction of risks for workers;
• Reduction of costs compared to other techniques in use;
• Anti-erosion function of the Anti-shrimp Geocomposite: the combined presence of the double-twisted mesh and the tight-knit PET woven geonet favor the retention and stabilization of the embankment soil, with consequent acceleration of the renaturation process of the embankment.

METALLIC MATTRESSES FOR HYDRAULIC PROTECTION 

Metallic Mattresses are structures in 6x8 hexagonal metal mesh, parallelepiped in shape, filled with stones,
generally with a wide base and reduced thickness, divided into several reinforcement pockets.
The metal mattresses have the function of hydraulic anti-erosion coating to protect the river banks and the
embankments against the erosive action of currents, and, thanks to their high flexibility and versatility, they are suitable for
different areas of employment; allowing, compared, for example, to techniques with loose stones, to obtain different
technical advantages and a decidedly lower environmental impact.
The main application areas of metal mattress structures can be found in:

Anti-erosion protection of rivers and canals;
• Environmental and naturalistic restoration of both natural and artificial hydraulic structures (reclamation canals, expansion tanks, earth barriers and
dams, wetlands, areas subject to environmental protection);

• Lining of artificial reservoirs for snowmaking or irrigation, or capping in landfills; as, in addition to the anti-erosion action on the surface, they are suitable for use in combination with waterproofing technologies;
• Creation of anti-scald feet to protect hydraulic works in gabions or loose stones.

The main application advantages of metal mattress works:

• The limited thickness and the wide base, with the confinement of the stones, allow to guarantee an excellent coating action anti-erosion of the banks, greatly reducing the volumes required compared to other types of works;
• The high flexibility and modularity allows di 
protect the foot of the bank embankment without having to deepen the work in the river bed;

• Thanks to their porosity, they perform an effective draining action and do not hinder the circulation of the groundwater, thus avoiding the formation of hydraulic pressures behind the embankment;

• Being modular works they can be integrated with other types of low-impact artefacts for the realization of Naturalistic Engineering works;

• The honeycomb structure of the mattresses with il relative internal stones, allows to retain the silt and soil particles present in the waters, favoring the renaturation of the embankment. To improve and accelerate any renaturation, the cover can be the ArrIdro geocomposite was used.

Cylindrical sack gabions are reinforced structures in hexagonal double twist metal mesh, with inserted
two metal closing bars (without the bars we are talking about Gabions in burga); fill directly in
construction site with stones, with the aim of quickly creating flexible and permeable structural works, both
longitudinal and transversal (hydraulic groynes). The technical and application characteristics of Cylindrical Gabions a
sack make them extremely useful in various fields of application.
The main application areas of Cylindrical Gabion structures are found in:

• River bank linings and reinforcements e

• Construction of sub-foundations of works

• Being extremely cohesive and flexible, the structures in Cylindrical Sack Gabions allow significant displacements and deformations, without losing their hydraulic functionality and without disjointing;
• Thanks to their porosity, they perform an effective draining action and do not hinder the circulation of the groundwater, thus avoiding the formation of hydraulic pressure behind the embankment;
• Being able to be carried out directly on site, they allow for extremely fast works to be carried out, and to intervene very quickly in emergencies;

• Thanks to their flexibility, the Cylindrical Sack Gabions can also be used from the riverbed towards the embankment, placing them directly on the seabed from suitable boats, to reinforce the embankments or to create hydraulic groynes;
• Reduction of installation and processing times;
• Since they are modular works with a high capacity of the fine particles of soil that travel suspended in the water, cuttings can be integrated for the construction of Naturalistic Engineering works; mitigating the impact
environment and improving the hydro-geotechnical functionality over time (increasing resistance to dragging stresses, thanks to the coverage and widespread reinforcement of the root systems).

RINVERDIBILI BIOGABIONS – RETAINING WALLS AND HYDRAULIC PROTECTION WORKS

The greenable Biogabions in double-twisted hexagonal wire mesh perform the same function as the
classic double twist wire mesh gabions, for soil defense and geotechnical engineering, in
more, the fact of being able to contain within them a vegetative pocket that can be green again, allows the work to have
a more effective and rapid insertion in areas of greater naturalistic interest and consider the
Biogabion as naturalistic engineering.
The vegetative pocket, positioned inside the Biogabion, and with measures defined during the
design, allows you to have greater protection from the elements and from possible impacts
processing stage on site

The double twist hexagonal wire mesh gabions are box-like structures filled with stones, which act
as gravity support structures, with high water drainage capacity, exploiting the cohesion between
stones and wire mesh.

TRIPLE LAYER ARR GEOCOMPOSITE ANTIEROSIVE PRE-LAYER FOR SLOPE STABILIZATION AND EMBANKMENT

As part of the safety of slopes or embankment embankments subject to erodibility phenomena and which

The main types of preassembled ARR Triple Layer anti-erosion geocomposites and the related areas
applications are:

  • ARCOMET Triple Layer Geocomposite, consisting of double twist wire mesh,
    pre-bonded with 100% coconut fiber biomesh and triple twisted fine mesh wire mesh.
    Suggested use in the stabilization and renaturation of slopes in soil and with both lithoid matrix
    medium and small pieces, up to a maximum inclination of 65-70°; indicated for most
    part of the interventions with the presence and/or carry-over of organic matter on the slope;

  • ARCOPET Triple Layer Geocomposite; made of double-twisted, pre-coupled wire mesh
    with dark green UV stabilized polyethylene geotextile and 100% fiber bionet
    coconut.
    Suggested use in stabilizing slopes with altered matrix and fine, very fine or
    loose, clayey or marly, with medium-long renaturation times suitable for contrasting possible
    small surface debris flow phenomena; in fact, the ARRPET allows you to withhold the
    solid part and let the liquid part come out, producing a defluidification of the mass e
    thus limiting their mobility. The opening of the shirt is designed not to hinder the development of
    pioneer vegetation, favored by the retention of the finest earth accumulations in the geocomposite;

  • ARCOPET IDRO geocomposite; made of double twisted wire mesh 6x8,
    pre-bonded with 100% coconut fiber bionet and with stabilized polyethylene geotextile
    UV, dark green color.
    Used in the anti-erosion protection of embankments with a high degree of hydraulic erodibility, a
    mixed earthy (also fine) and lithoid matrices, as well as in the action of protection against fauna from
    excavation (nutria, badgers, porcupines, shrimps and similar).
